The Redford Beautification Commission SHARE THE SUNSHINE Zinnia gardens are growing! Once the Zinnias bloom, the flowers will brighten their flower beds and the surrounding area. We want to remind you again that these flowers are for you to pick.

The SHARE THE SUNSHINE flower beds are located in the same areas as 2019. You can find them at Vandenberg Park, Handy/Capital Park, Claude Allison Park, Kraft/Volney Smith Park, the Township Hall near the Marquee and at Presbyterian Village. The flowers should start to bloom by the end of July and will continue to bloom into September.

NOMINATIONS FOR BEST YARD AWARDS OPEN UNTIL JULY 31

When you drive or walk by a beautiful yard, please take note because the Beautification Commission is still looking for great front yards with curb appeal! Nominate yourself or someone else for the best yard award in Redford Township. For a yard to be considered, please provide the address, a brief description of the yard and a photo if possible. Nominations can be submitted between June 1st and July 31st by visiting the Redford Township Website at http://www.redfordtwp.com/best-yard-awards. The link is located on the home page in the lower left “Best Yard Awards Nomination Application”.
