New Ad We Want You

Most of the calendar events listed in last month’s calendar were either cancelled, re-scheduled months in the future, or conducted on ZOOM or similar software without physical attendees.  We are looking forward to your input for events in May, 2020 and in the future for updates to this calendar. 

Please send calendar events to redfordconnection@yahoo.com with “RedCon 5-20 Calendar Event [name of event and org name]” on the subject line for May 2020 events. only. Change 5-20 to 6-20, etc.

Also, please follow the form for the articles to be grouped by day of week and date and time which is as follows: 

  1. Day  of Week [Monday through Sunday]
  2. Date and time ie: [March 15, 7 pm -]  The dash is important to ad
  3. Name of the event [such as Friends of the Library Book Sale]
  4. Items 1 to 3 should be bolded and underlined, be sure to include the ” – ”  or space – space after the date and time and before the Name of the event.
  5. Special items  [not bolded or underlined after item 4
  6. Key facts about the event, ie guest speakers, topic, reason for the event, monthly meeting, special meeting for what purpose, etc.
  7. Location of event with address for readers who are first readers of the calendar  for example [Historical Commission meeting, Redford Historical Museum,   12895 Berwyn, Redford, 48239″s
  8. Contact Information, name telephone, fax, email, website, ZOOM c ontact, etc.  If the meeting is conducted in the clouds, be sure to include virtual event contact information.
